The Backstage Lounge has become a favorite spot for live music, and is a great place to kick back and enjoy some great food and drink. We are a full-service restaurant and nightclub adjacent to the Arts Club Theatre and just steps from the Public Market on world-famous Granville Island. Our False Creek waterfront location offers spectacular views both from inside our newly renovated facilities and our spacious outdoor patio.

Open every night until 2am (Sundays til midnight) the Backstage Lounge is committed to showcasing local artists with performances almost every night: from indie rock and DJs, to world music and open-mic jams. Long recognized as a great place for live music the Backstage Lounge has now positioned itself as the premiere venue for local and touring talent.

Whether you're looking for a night on the town, location for a private party, a VIP room booking, or just a nice break from shopping the Island with a quick bite and a frosty cold pint of local brew - the BSL is just the spot. We offer full restaurant service, from lunch until late ; an extensive cocktail list, wine selection and outstanding selection of local and draft beers.
